The world's offshore deepwater specialists and industry influencers will gather in Macae next month.

Brasil Offshore is the biennial conference and exhibition showcasing the Brazilian offshore oil and gas industry. Held in Macae, which is the industry's operational base and accounts for over 80% of Brazil's offshore exploration, the event attracted a global audience of over 49,000 professionals and 636 exhibitors in 2009.

The event, which has been successfully staged for over 10 years is jointly
organised by IBP - Brazilian Institute of Petroleum, Natural Gas and Biofuels, (organisers of the prestigious Rio Oil and Gas event), SPE - Society of Petroleum Engineers and Reed Exhibitions Alcantara Machado.

The event offers E & P professionals the opportunity to view and discuss new exploration and production technologies, to debate new ideas in the peerreviewed technical conference and to deliver the solutions that will allow them to realise the Brazilian offshore market potential.

The diverse range of international exhibitors combined with the highly specialist decision-making visitors, provides the formula for the success of the "must attend" oil and gas industry event.

Following the rapid expansion of the offshore industry in Brazil, this fifth edition of Brasil offshore consolidates even more its position within the global events calendar, recording unprecedented growth since its first edition.
