Events during the Pandemic

The health and safety of all who participate at our event is our number one priority. In order to respond effectively to the situation we are experiencing, we notice you the basic measures that we will have and the good practices that you should implement during your participation:

Keep in mind that these measures are what is currently required and were designed based on international studies. We will be keeping close track of the requirements coming from the government an Ministry of Health and will update the MANUAL whenever necessary.

Early warning symptoms

If you or someone from your staff has any viral symptoms such as cough, fever or sore throat a week before the show, stay home and contact the doctor.

In addition, our suppliers must train their staff on the risks and protection measures of COVID-19 before the event.

Sanitary Filters (Venue)

During build-up, in-show and break-down there will be sanitary filters at the entrance of the venue, and includes temperature screening, hand sanitizing, among others. Please follow the recommendations and instructions of the staff who will be attending them. Anyone with a temperature above 37.5 °C or displaying symtoms will not be permitted entry to the show.

Personal Protective Equipment will be mandatory during build-up and break-down. Contractors and decorators must wear facemask and helmet at all times, and their appropriate safety equipment for the activity they will do (boots, fall arrest equipment, gloves, goggles, etc.).

NOT permitted: face coverings not properly secure, face coverings with exhalation valves, bandanas, neck gaitors, face coverings that contain holes or is significantly damaged.

That face coverings have to fits properly and snuggly, fully covering your nose and mouth.

The organizing committee will assign staggered assembly and disassembly schedules, as well as for loading and unloading to regulate the hall capacity. All personnel who attend must arrive on time, considering their passage through the sanitary filters, and respect the assigned hours.

Booth Design

Booth designs should be simplified, with open spaces that allow air circulation and provide flexibility for exhibitors and visitors to move, with furniture that allows for healthy distance such as acrylic barriers on business tables, counters, product displays, etc.

Build-up and Break-down

From planning, consider a quick assembly design to have a build-up/break-down with fewer staff and less permanence. All staff working before and after the event should maintain healthy distance (1.5 m) and avoid any type of physical greeting with the rest of the staff.

According to your booth design, it will be necessary to mark on the floor every 1.5 m to guide the healthy distance and the route attendees/exhibitors must take. In addition, the maximum booth capacity must be visibly placed, depending on the recommended physical distance (1.5 m) and its size.

Cleaning and Desinfection

The organizing committee will do constant cleaning before starting and after finishing build-up and break-down activities. It will be the supplier and/or his staff responsibility to guarantee the cleaning and disinfection of the booth materials and furniture at the end of the assembly.

Only designated areas can be used to consume food, respecting the maximum number of people and stay only long enough to eat. Inside the booth assembly zones is forbidden to consume food.

Hygiene Protocols

Follow the hygiene protocol at the show: Regularly wash your hands with soap and water or use the alcohol-based gel dispensers to clean them; cover your mouth and nose with your bent elbow or tissue when you cough or sneeze, and properly dispose your tissues.

We are counting on you to make our show safer for everyone
